About Esia Nathaniel

Founder of Lupuna

With two decades in venture building, and recent years devoted to bridging technology, consciousness, and cultural evolution, Esia Nathaniel moves at the intersection of science, systems, and spirit - designing architectures where innovation and inner intelligence evolve together.

Drawing on a background in commercial growth and venture-building, he has helped science-based companies in agri-foodtech and advanced biomaterial science transition from lab to market.

His path unfolded from building ventures to mapping the invisible architectures of life - how intelligence moves through people, systems, and the planet itself. That inquiry became the seed for Lupuna - a venture lab and philosophical house cultivating the next generation of living systems, where technology and consciousness grow together.

His work emerges from a deeper mission - to help civilization remember how to grow in coherence with life, where innovation becomes wisdom and systems, ventures, and consciousness evolve together.

The Story of the Lupuna

Lupuna received its name from the great guardian tree of the Amazon - a being revered by the Shipibo and other forest lineages as a teacher of teachers, a protector, and a silent architect of life.

In Amazonian cosmology, the Lupuna is considered a master tree and said to house the spirits of many plant teachers - a living cathedral of consciousness. It is not a tree one consumes, but one you learn from through presence: by sitting at its roots, dreaming beneath its canopy, or listening in stillness to the intelligence it holds.

Its teachings come not through words, but through being.

My encounter with this spirit came during an ayahuasca ceremony in Sintra, Portugal, guided by the Niwe Rao Xobo family - a lineage of Shipibo healers whose work bridges generations of plant wisdom. Under the care of Maestra Laura and Maestra Lila Lopez-Sanchez, I experienced and connected with the living presence of the Lupuna - not as a vision, but as an intelligence that rooted and expanded through every layer of being.

Lupuna, the venture, was born as an expression of that teaching. It is both a Venture Lab and a Philosophical House, bridging Deep-tech, Inner-tech, and Cultural Design.

Each initiative - whether technological, social, or spiritual - grows as part of a living system, guided by the same principle the tree embodies: All that reaches for the sky must first know the earth.

The Lupuna stands as a symbol of living intelligence - where innovation, culture, and consciousness are not separate pursuits but interwoven branches of the same tree.

It reminds us that the future is not to be built against nature, but with it - through wisdom that is grounded, luminous, and alive.

The Living Intelligence Trilogy

Designing the next Operating System for Civilization

Civilization is outgrowing the logic that built it. Our systems - economic, organizational, technological - were designed for efficiency, not for life. The Living Intelligence Trilogy offers a new blueprint: an operating system rooted in coherence, consciousness, and the evolutionary intelligence of living systems.

Through a fusion of systems science, consciousness studies, regenerative economics, and two decades of venture-building, Esia Nathaniel maps how intelligence organizes across every scale - from the individual to the enterprise to civilization itself.

Each volume explores one layer of this transformation.

Together, these works form a cartography of the transition now underway - from system to soul, from mechanism to metabolism, from control to coherence. This is not a vision of the future, but a design for it -a living architecture for a civilization capable of consciousness.

Volume I

Living Intelligence

The Next Architecture of Leadership

How consciousness itself becomes infrastructure - revealing leadership as the art of designing coherence between inner worlds and outer systems.

This volume is for philosophers, facilitators, and visionary leaders exploring the frontier where inner development meets systemic transformation.

It offers a map of how intelligence organizes through life - from mind and body to system and civilization - inviting readers to experience leadership as a form of awakening.

Volume II

The Living Architecture of Growth

Designing Coherence in Complex Systems

How organizations and economies can grow like ecosystems - adaptive, regenerative, and alive.

For founders, executives, and venture architects building the next generation of regenerative enterprises.

This volume translates philosophy into practice - showing how coherence, rhythm, and alignment create growth that feels alive.

It speaks to leaders who see their organizations as ecosystems of intelligence and believe that growth is not a process to control, but a field to cultivate.

Volume III

The Listening Civilization

Designing Humanity’s Next Operating System

How civilization learns to feel itself - integrating human, ecological, and artificial intelligence into a living field of coherence.

For stewards of systems - policymakers, technologists, cultural architects - who are ready to integrate human, ecological, and artificial intelligence into a coherent planetary architecture.

This final volume explores civilization as consciousness-in-motion: how our collective systems can learn to sense, reflect, and evolve as one living mind.

It is written for those who know that the next revolution will not be technological - it will be relational.
